The study of science fires students' curiosity about phenomena in the world around them and offers opportunities to find explanations. Students learn how knowledge and understanding in science are rooted in evidence. They discover how scientific ideas contribute to technological change - affecting industry, business and medicine and improve the quality of life.
Our aim is to give each pupil an appreciation for science; quenching their thirst for knowledge and helping them build on their understanding of scientific facts, methods and applications. These tools support pupil development and enhance their practical and investigative skills. Whether you proceed to advanced studies or finish your formal Science training at GCSE, our aim is that you have a broad, informed foundation for the future.
